It all started with pigs...

Berkshire/Duroc Hogs - We cross these two heritage breeds of pigs to produce an animal that is able to thrive on pasture while producing the highest quality pork available. Like all our animals, our pigs are never given antibiotics and are fed a NON-GMO diet. Additionally, our pigs are certified by Animal Welfare Approved, an internationally known organization considered the gold standard in humane animal treatment. 

Cornish Cross Chickens and Broad Breasted Turkeys - At many of our early farmers markets we heard a repeated statement - "Man cannot live on pork alone." This lead us to add poultry to our farm. But we said if we were going to raise chickens, they would also need to live on pasture. Similar to our pigs, our birds are never given antibiotics and are fed a NON-GMO diet.

Scottish Highland Cattle - The newest addition to the farm are quickly gaining popularity. 100% Grass-fed and Grass-finished - this heritage breed does well on pasture and is ideally suited for our Michigan climate. Their thick coats keep them warm in the harshest of winters.

Wild Caught Great Lakes Fish - We work with a Marine Biologist and members of the Chippewa Nation to provide access to the best fish available in the Great Lakes. Lake Trout, Whitefish, and Perch are just a few of the fish that you will find throughout the year. 

Michigan Maple Syrup - Our good friends at Dodd's Sugar Shack in Niles source from a number of trees throughout our area to bring you 100% pure Michigan Maple Syrup.
