Whole Chickens
Our Whole Chickens are raised on pasture with plenty of space to forage, scratch, and live naturally—just as chickens should. Each bird comes from our carefully managed flocks, fed a non-GMO diet and raised without antibiotics or hormones. The result is tender, flavorful meat with a rich depth that only pasture-raising can bring. These whole birds are perfect for roasting, smoking, or breaking down into parts for multiple meals.

Cooking Tips:

Classic Roast: Pat the chicken dry, season generously inside and out, and roast at 425°F for about 1 hour, or until the thickest part of the thigh reaches 165°F. Let rest before carving.
Slow Cooker: Place the chicken in a slow cooker with broth, herbs, and veggies. Cook on low for 6–8 hours for a fall-apart texture.
Spatchcock & Grill: Remove the backbone, flatten the bird, and grill skin-side down over medium heat until cooked through and crispy.

Recipe Ideas:

Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken: Roast with lemon slices, garlic, and fresh rosemary for a bright, aromatic meal.
Pasture Chicken Soup: Use the whole bird to create a nourishing broth, then pull the meat for a hearty soup with veggies and noodles.
BBQ Spatchcock Chicken: Flatten and marinate the bird in BBQ sauce, then grill for a smoky, sticky finish.
Chicken and Root Veggie Sheet Pan Dinner: Roast the whole chicken with carrots, onions, and potatoes for a simple one-pan meal.
