Thanksgiving 2025

Writing to you within the whirlwind of our turkey drop mixed with the week of Thanksgiving, felt forced. So, I paused, and waited. I moved through the Holiday, repeating to my inner thoughts of writing that our work getting food to your table was louder than the Thanksgiving message I could compose at the time. Yet, expressing our story of thankfulness kept piercing through, and I couldn’t wait to create any longer. What better way to start this month, than reflecting on how thankful this family, farm and business is for you.

Our direct connection to those we feed saved our farm, and gave us a better understanding of our real purpose as farmers.  It created a place where multiple families can work alongside one another. It has put life right back into our soil, and transforms our ways of thinking and doing, working always from the ground up.  Your connection gives us the ability to put quality first in everything we do.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for caring about the food that nourishes your body, the hands that make it all happen, and building a resilient, consistent, and trusted food source for yourself and others.

You helped our family, farm and business push forward another year, while building hopes for the next generation, and creating dreams of a timeless connection between a farmer and those to feed.

Holiday Guide 2025

From choosing the main holiday meal to covering the in-between moments and last-minute gifts, this guide reflects how we’re planning our own holidays on the farm.

Farm & Craft Sausage Series

We’ve been working on something new that brings our farm together with a few local makers we trust. It started as a small idea that grew through conversations and shared values, and now it’s ready. We’re calling it the Farm & Craft Sausage Series, a seasonal collaboration that pairs our pasture-raised pork with the craft of our partners.

Deer Harvest & Lemons

A rough cut on the meat slicer forced our family to slow down, reshuffle chores, and step into moments we might’ve otherwise missed. One of those moments led us into the woods together, where the kids learned what it means to harvest an animal with respect and the adults gathered around firelight swapping wisdom and laughter. It’s a story about how hardship can open the door to unexpected joy, and the way those small, shared experiences shape us.
