Goodbye to Summer

Enjoying those still small moments…

Is the challenge of Summer.  This summer has felt particularly busier than most, with adding farmers markets, changing team members, maneuvering sow breeding cycles, building turkey brooders, kids’ activities, and weekend travels.  However, I ask, are we really any busier?  Or, have we zoomed past the still small moments to anchor us in time.

And assuredly, God with His beautiful creation — where the sun settles over the hill, grass grows so tall you only notice the six-legged creature as it takes the leap of faith to the next blade, curious piglets walk with their protective mother, soul settling children awe over the most beautiful place to sit on the farm — is our anchor.

Enjoy this short video on the farm capturing some of the moments, we wish to never forget: https://youtu.be/w7_tHewdmFo

A Breath of Fresh Air

At the change of each season, our weeks feel a bit fuller at the farm. As we prepare for cooler weather, close out outdoor market seasons, and gear up for winter meat drops, our incredible team keeps everything running smoothly. We’re grateful for the wonderful people we work with, making these busy times feel rewarding as we embrace the rhythms of farm life together.

Connecting with You, Wherever You Are

We value the deep connections we make with our customers, whether it’s in person or online. We're committed to providing an alternative to the commercial food industry, offering pasture-raised meats that are both nutritious and responsibly-raised. In response to the growing demand for convenience, we’ve introduced home shipping.

The Future is Cooperative

October is National Co-op Month, a celebration cooperatives (organizations owned and operated by their members) that shape the future of food and farming. This year’s theme, “The Future is Cooperative,” highlights how co-ops are more than just stores or buying clubs—they are community-powered organizations that foster local connections, prioritize education, and promote sustainable food systems. By working together, food co-ops help bridge the gap between farmers and consumers, ensuring that local, ethical food remains at the heart of small communities.
