The Farm & Craft Sausage Series highlights small, seasonal batches made with local producers who already use our meats in their own craft. This first release brings together our pasture-raised pork and Old Spot hard cider from Virtue Cider.
Cider has long been part of farm cooking, adding gentle sweetness and lift to simple dishes. In this brat, it rounds out the pork without overpowering it, creating a clean, balanced sausage with no fillers and a bright seasonal flavor.

Cooking Tips:
Grilling: Medium heat, 15 to 20 minutes, turning until browned and cooked through.
Pan-Frying: Medium heat, 12 to 15 minutes in a lightly oiled skillet.
Simmering: Cook gently in cider and onions, then brown in a hot pan or on the grill.
Recipe Ideas:
Cider Brats with Onions: Simmer onions in cider, serve on toasted buns with mustard.
Harvest Skillet: Brats with potatoes, onions, and apples.
Cabbage and Cider Brats: Braise with cabbage and a splash of vinegar.
A small craft batch for the season. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
