Ingredients:
- 1 lb Jake’s grass-fed ground beef
 - 1 lb Jake's pasture-raised ground pork
 - 1 tsp dried basil
 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme
 - 3 Jake’s pasture-raised eggs
 - 1 small onion, sautéed
 - 1/4 cup milk
 - 1 cup breadcrumbs
 - Seasoned salt, to taste
 - Black pepper, to taste
 - 5-6 slices of bacon, thawed
 - Ketchup (for topping)
 
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and pork.
 - Season with basil, thyme, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
 - Stir in the eggs, sautéed onions, and milk.
 - Gradually mix in the breadcrumbs until evenly combined.
 - Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased bread loaf pan.
 - Layer the bacon slices over the top.
 - Generously top with ketchup.
 - Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 150°F.
 - Rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
