It’s easy to be thankful this fall when your Thanksgiving turkey is this good. Ours are raised outdoors on pasture right here on our family farm in Southwest Michigan, with room to move, forage, scratch, and simply be turkeys.
They’re fed a non-GMO diet and raised without antibiotics, with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and pasture along the way. It takes more space, more attention, and a little more work, but we think a turkey this important is worth doing right.
The result is a turkey with rich flavor, great texture, and a story you can feel good about sharing around the table. Raised by our family for yours.

From how your turkey is raised to choosing the right size, pickup, shipping, and cooking, here are the answers to the questions we hear most often.
Our turkeys are raised outdoors on pasture on our family farm in Southwest Michigan, with room to move, forage, scratch, and explore.
They're fed a non-GMO diet and raised without antibiotics. We care for them on pasture throughout the growing season until harvest.
Our turkeys are processed under USDA inspection..
After processing, the turkeys are frozen to preserve their quality until it's time to get them to you for Thanksgiving.
It starts with how they're raised. Our turkeys spend the growing season outdoors on pasture, where they have room to move, forage, scratch, and explore. They're fed a non-GMO diet and raised without antibiotics.
They're also not injected or pre-brined. You're getting the turkey itself, raised with care and with the rich flavor and firm texture you expect from a pasture-raised bird.
They can. Pasture-raised turkeys tend to cook a little faster than conventional turkeys, so we recommend cooking to temperature rather than relying only on time.
Our turkeys are also not injected or pre-brined. That gives you more control over how you season, brine, and prepare your bird.
We'll send along our thawing and cooking tips before Thanksgiving to help you get the best out of your turkey.
Plan on about 1 to 1.5 pounds per person. Go toward the higher end if your crew loves turkey or if you want plenty left over for sandwiches, soup, and the next day's lunch.
Not exactly. Every turkey grows a little differently, so you're reserving a size range rather than an exact weight. We'll match you with a turkey in the range you selected.
Our Thanksgiving turkeys are frozen. Freezing allows us to preserve their quality and safely get them from our farm to your home, pickup location, or shipping destination.
Your turkey will arrive cleaned, frozen, and ready to cook, with the neck and giblets included.
Our turkeys are not injected or pre-brined, so you can season, brine, and prepare your bird however you like.
Allow about one day in the refrigerator for every 4 to 5 pounds of turkey. When in doubt, give yourself an extra day.
We'll also send along thawing and cooking tips before Thanksgiving.
